AR Reserves of the Regione Siciliana

An augmented reality application developed for the Regione Siciliana reserves in the province of Messina, conceived as an interactive treasure hunt along specific trekking trails and routes. By scanning the markers placed along the route, visitors can see three-dimensional animated elements that tell the story of the reserve’s flora, fauna, history and viewpoints. The project covered concept design, the production of 2D and 3D assets, animation, AR programming and the design and printing of the physical markers.
